Blanca has found her forever home!

Yesterday morning after a rec soccer game, we came home, gave Blanca a bath, gave her, her last de-worming (that we would give her), put a new pink collar on her happy self.  We got her puppy papers ready, bill of sale, vet book, bag of puppy chow, and then a shiny red SUV pulled into the drive.

The big dogs let us know that the puppy picker upper was early.   She was a very nice lady finding a dog for good friend.   Blanca was a perky bounding little ball of energy.  But as the nice lady was holding her, Blanca was quiet, and as she looked at us, we wondered if she might know, that this was ---goodbye.

Blanca's Piglet

Blanca has been having a great time with her parents, while sometimes they're still scary, other times she'll wrestle both of them at the same time as they lay on the deck. She had Bart pinned on his back, by biting/ hugging his throat!

Today she was presented the pink piglet, received at her last vet visit. It squeaks!

And Now Their is One

My name is Blanca, and I live on the second ground floor, sometimes on linoleum, some times old deck boards, and sometimes in the dirt.  I was the seventh of eight puppies, and from the very start, obviously the very smallest.  Today El Guapo my brother, and Violet my sister, left in a shiny black car with some Mama hair-colored ladies.  It was drizzling, and I watched them be petted, held like babies, and meet a big yellow dog.  They had sweet voices and I wanted to be held too.   I wined from the other side of the cold wire fence. They left me in the big puppy yard, all alone in the wet grass. My little puppy heart is aching.  I just know that like all the others, Violet, and El Guapo, are never coming back (insert the saddest puppy cries, and watery eyes here).
Since my litter mates left me,
I found a new place to dwell,
it's down on the end of lonely street, the puppy-heart-ache motel.
I feel so lonely Violet, I feel so lonely El Guapo,
I feel so lonely, I could die... (add more puppy wines here)
After the litter left me, my people let me out of the gate, I followed them into the house, played with the big dogs rawhide bones, I even retrieved!  I then was escorted to the big back yard where the big dogs are. My Mama, and Big Bart. Man is he big, I put my chin to the wood and thought "please don't eat me."   He hasn't yet.

I watched them retrieve a ring and a ball, the whole world shook as they charged up and down the deck stairs.  I checked out their big dog houses, lied down under the patio table, and eventually right up against Mama. Life is good, and I may have heard that I'm sleeping in the house tonight.
Did I tell you that my sister Violet, and my Brother El Guapo, still have not come back?

Three Puppies in need of love:
These labradoodles are love sponges! The sight of a person has their tails wagging. They quickly get underfoot, and beg you to pet their heads, chins, behind the ears, and to paralyze them, put them on their backs and get their bellies.  Puppy guts!  Today they ran and played with three little girls in the front yard.  They were here for a puppy visit, and the little doggies did not disappoint. They loved it too. They're getting a little too brave for my liking, wanting to explore the world outside the fences, stretching their legs and having a blast.

Last night when they were back in the pen, I sat on the floor with puppies snuggling, pulling shoe laces, and chewing on a tennis ball.  Violet was being a mush, Blanca was getting pets and the boot laces. El Guapo was carrying a tennis ball around, then he laid down on his side and started growling and barking at it a little bit.  It was comical, and his Bart Daddy will do some of that too -- even at 2 years old.

The Bart dog will play fetch with himself, rolling a ball down a hill, or the steps from the deck, and then retrieving it to the starting place.

These three musketeers,  really need that special somebody to dote on them, more than we can at this point.

Life-long friends in the offing.   "Can anybody find me somebody to love?"

Four Labradoodle Puppies Available

With half the litter re-homed one male and three females remain, basking along the banks of Terry Brook. All and all, a very even-keeled crew remains. Lots of fun to be had, and so much loving waiting for their future families. Orange, and White have shed their collars, but they are very easy to tell apart.

Orange is sweet, a little reserved and our last straight coat (lab looking) pup. He's the remaining male.
White is our smallest female (wavy coat)
Pink is our medium sized female (wavy coat, but maybe a little sleeker-straighter)
Violet is our largest female remaining, (the fluffiest or straighter fleece-coat maybe)

Almost 8 Weeks !

Getting bigger, faster and stronger, these pups are still getting a little bit of mamas milk from Millie, but not much.  Puppy chow is there mainstay now.  They're trying to keep things clean in the pen, trying to hold out in the mornings.   They've paper down in one part of the pen, which is where most of their business ends up if they can't make it.

Here are a few pics of them peering over the board after a thunderstorm chased us all inside.

5 Pups Still Available

So far, Blue-Collared Male, Yellow-Collared Female, and Red-Collared Male have been reserved.
They'll be enjoying the company of their parents, and litter mates for another week, before heading to their forever homes.  This will leave 2 males and 3 females.

These puppies are almost at the pinnacle of cuteness. They are a fast moving army of licking and nibbling, that rushes out of the pen each morning, to attach to Millie for their thrice daily nursing, and backyard shenanigans.  Favorite games are "puppy-charge",  "race around the oak tree" and "fight over the squeaky balls".

Vet Visit --get them doggies rollin!

Today we went in a crate, on a wagon, in a van, to the veterinarian. We got de-wormed and vaccinated. The doc said we were all doing well, boys had everything where it was supposed to be, our hearts all sounded great!
The ladies we met today all ogled us and talked a lot of baby talk.  The floor was sooo nice and cool.  Red and Green got to play with a stuffed animal.

New Litter of 8 Black Labradoodle Puppies as of June 22nd 2015

Millie and Bart have done it again, but this time with 8 shiny black beauties!
There are four boys and four girls, and the smallest of them is a female with a white chin and under-paw.

They're doing well and yesterday we had the first escape from the welping box.  The wood side has been added, but they're outgrowing that box pretty quickly, and may soon be getting some mashed puppy chow added to their diets..
