Green and Yellow last sink baths, and goodbyes

Green and Yellow started their days with baths --a blue Dawn shampoo-ing, towel dry, and time on laps by the gas log.  They played inside until totally dry.

Green just left towards Raleigh, with a young couple (says the 56 year old).  They're doodle pros, the owners of a 10 year old goldendoodle. There will be some getting used to taking place for sure.
That bundle of exuberance circling the older dog :-)

After the goodbye on the drive and obligatory puppy picture, I came into the house to hear Yellow complaining in the puppy pen.  He was sitting by himself, on the dog bed, under the red light of heatlamps, warm as could be, but so all alone, all alone, all alone.

He's helping type this blogpost at the moment, and he'll be going the distance, heading for a rendezvous in Thomasville, and then on to Charlotte. We'll be leaving in just a few hours. Until then, he's my puppy.

Puppies Re-homed (almost there)

While they're not truly re-homed or sold until 10 days after purchase, it is looking like we'll be plum out of puppies by tomorrow 1/12/2019.

Pink the cutie has been Re-homed (She'll winter in Chester Va, and vacation along a lake shore in Wisconsin).  We'll have to settle with looking into her puppy dog eyes in pictures.

There's a deposit down on Yellow (the pretty boy) who's headed for Charlotte, NC.  He was supposed to be a Christmas puppy, but the sleigh did not come bye, or the elves could not get to him to come, sit or rollover? Maybe the litter was too formidable, maybe Santa needed more, or bigger elves?  In any case, someone may end up on the naughty list for being the no-show.  Imagine that empty box, or the box with the small stuffed dog, instead of a doodle!

Yellow, Green and Pink have all had a good time, and made us laugh like little kids, with their puppy-licks, kisses, and clumsy maneuvers on wood floors.

Our other remaining puppy, actually should be tail waving goodbye before Yellow, as there are plans for an afternoon pickup of Green. Green is a pretty solid big-boned fluff ball, and has been a total love sponge. We'll miss them all -- except maybe the puppy paper duty.   Did you see the shot of Green jumping off of the bank "Air Green"?  Just easily amused perhaps?  Seems Millie will soon be puppy-less again (if you don't count the Bart).

Thanks to all that have looked here, that seek the company of such beasts. Play with these puppies, when they are cute and small, big and strong, and old but true.

Pink's Sink Bath...

It was like a spa visit for Pink this evening, warm bath tended by two people, towel rub down by the fire, then to the room heater and TV for an HGTV episode being a total lap-dog on the people mama.

She's now under the heat-lamps on a plump dog bed for her last night with litter mates Green and Yellow.

Pink Pics by Request

Today we had a request for more Pink puppy portrait pics..
Had the high schooler, try to hold her :-)

Good Weather and Outside Time

It's been fun walking, running, and playing with the pups on the yard, now that it is not so muddy.
Green, Pink and Yellow had a blast yesterday as we did puppy races with me and two school age sons.

These are some pics requested of Green, he made me laugh a few times.  It's hard to get shots when the pup wants to be so close.

Then there were Four : WeeWee Rehomed!

WeeWee, the littlest puppy has been rehomed to a family with lots of loving kids..  He will truly be the baby dog for a while :-)

That leaves the female Pink, and the males Blue, Green and Yellow.

Here are some shots of Yellow:

Here are some pics of Green who is a little bigger than yellow, and the biggest mush of those left :-)

These are some shots of Blue, who has shed his velcro collar, but we know who he is... large and in charge, and more of a straight coat like his daddy.

This is Pink, the remaining female, only smaller than her brothers by size!
